Denis and I got engaged in January 2008 and we planned our wedding for 27th October 2008.

I first heard about Edel from a work colleague. I was really impressed after seeing the photographs of her wedding dress. As I was an ‘older bride’, I had some trepidation about wearing a traditional wedding gown and initially I had considered a cocktail dress, but friends persuaded me otherwise.

As soon as Denis and I entered Edel’s studio and viewed the array of beautiful gowns, I knew my search was at an end. On opening the first page of her catalogue, I saw a stunning dress, which was similar in design to the one I had in mind. I tried on a number of gowns and I could honestly have selected any one of them, except that I had already found my dream dress.

Edel and her staff were extremely friendly, genuine and professional at all times. I had great confidence in their expertise and it was a wonderful experience. The end result was stunning and the attention to detail was amazing. I felt a million dollars on the day, as the dress and stole looked fabulous from all angles.
